Meet The Team

Rob started as a stock boy in high school at 14 and continued through summers working for Ibbotson Heating until trade school. Rob has been an Ibbotson Heating HVAC installer most of his career and has been an Ibbotson Heating full time employee for over 23 years. Rob now is our installation manager for over 6 years and oversees our day to day operations and inside sales. In his spare time, Rob enjoys coaching youth athletics with his 2 sons.

Mike started with Ibbotson Heating as a service technician and moved to Service Manager last year. He has been with Ibbotson Heating for over 34 years. Mike has always had a following with our customers and a wait list requesting his expertise for years and we are so excited to have him lead our team of Service Technicians with a great attitude and wonderful customer service. Mike met his wife of 31 years who was employed at the time at Ibbotson Heating. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family boating.

Greg started at Ibbotson Heating after college and is a 3rd generation family member and son of owner Ralph Ibbotson, Jr. Greg has been at Ibbotson for over 26 years and was a service technician until moving to Service Manager over 10 years ago. Greg also handles our internal IT day to day operations. In his spare time, Greg enjoys going to Cubs games, spending time with his grandkids, and volunteering at his church.

Brian takes care of the daily interactions and organizing the scheduling and mapping of the service calls for all of the service technicians at Ibbotson Heating. Brian has been with Ibbotson for over 17 years. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing disc golf.

Patty started working part time at Ibbotson Heating as a young teenager alongside her mother, Millie, who was our bookkeeper back in the late 1970's and is still employed with us today. Patty manages the office staff and daily operations as well as the commercial maintenance contracts, and has the capability and expertise to assist with any office position within the company. Aside from Ralph, Patty has worked at Ibbotson Heating the longest of any other employee. In her spare time, Patty enjoys traveling with her husband and makes the most delicious desserts for family and friends.

Kim takes care of the daily accounting practices in regards to Account payables, Account receivables, and customer payment transactions. She also handles a majority of HR tasks in regards to employee benefits and policies. Kim has been with Ibbotson Heating for over 18 years. In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Susanne is one of our friendly customer service specialists that will answer your call and also handles all the residential maintenance contracts through Ibbotson Heating. Susanne is an experienced customer service specialist and has lived in Arlington Hts. for over 15 years. In her spare time, Susanne enjoys interior design and spending time with her family.

Ingrid is a valued customer service specialist at Ibbotson Heating and often the friendly voice you hear when calling our office. Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and drawing.

Erin brings warmth and care to every call you make to Ibbotson Heating. A lifelong animal lover, she volunteers regularly at the Heartland Animal Shelter, helping care for furry friends in need. Her compassion outside work shines through in how she treats each customer—with patience, kindness, and genuine concern. When Erin isn’t helping folks stay comfortable in their homes, you’ll often find her walking dogs, cuddling cats, or lending a hand at the shelter. Her love for animals and people alike makes her a perfect fit for our team.
